INTRODUCTION
As a line-up request, we were asked to come up with a new ID (Exterior & Interior) & CMF Identity, based on Generational & Trend Analysis for the new 1 door Samsung Refrigerator for the south west asian (SWA) market.

My Role as the Product Designer was to Study & create interesting user stories to base newer interior features & details, apart from participating in the Industrial Design of the same.
UNIQUE IDENTITY
Garo Handle
& the Next-gen horizontal curve door design. The door features a softly-curved, round-top shape and clean lines, as well as the new GARO handle. And the upgraded interiors sport a mild blue color, making them look cooler and neater. It is available in 19 colors and patterns.

Interior Design

The upgraded Vegetable Box comes with 1.5L extra capacity.
SPACE OPTIMIZATION
The new Samsung Single Door refrigerator offers more storage space. It has extra 6L internal capacity.
DEEP DOOR BIN
A Deep Door Bin can safely store larger bottles, bulky cartons of milk and juice and other beverage items without wasting space. It can fit in three 2L bottles and a 1L in the door at the same time.
ANTI BACTERIAL GASKET
An Anti Bacterial Gasket helps keep the door liner clean and prevents the build-up of fungi and bacteria inside the refrigerator. So everything is more hygienic and food is less likely to spoil quickly.
BASE STAND DRAWER
Storage for Non-Refrigerated Food Items. The large Base Stand Drawer in the lower part of the refrigerator - a convenient place for food items that don't need cooling, such as potatoes and onions. And you won't waste kitchen space to keep extra baskets!

Digi-Touch Cool™ 5in1
Quick and intuitive control with the Digi-Touch Cool™ control panel. With a simple touch, user select the Power Cool Mode to rapidly cool food and drinks or choose the e-Defrost option to effortlessly de-frost the freezer. It also helps save energy with Eco Mode and a Door Alarm. It even alerts you about power cuts and restores any temperature loss*.
CURD MAESTRO™
The world's first Direct Cool Refrigerator that makes fresh curd and preserves it too. It is not only convenient but also eliminates all the hassle of curd making in different weather conditions. What's more! It makes curd with the same consistency, every time.
DEEP DOOR BIN
​A Deep Door Bin can safely store larger bottles, bulky cartons of milk and juice and other beverage items without wasting space. It can fit in three 2L bottles and a 1L in the door at the same time.
FRESHMAX
FreshMax is a multi-utility door bin with hooks that allow you to hang fruits and vegetables in small bags. It also has a special divider and bottle guard to separate bottles and prevent them from tumbling.
SAFE CLEAN BACK
Clean the back of your refrigerator much more easily. The Safe Clean Back is a completely smooth safety cover for vital coils and cables. It looks really neat, can be easily wiped clean and provides added durability. It stops dirt from collecting around components and protects them from knocks.
UNCLUTTERED FREEZER
With temperature settings possible through the Digi-Touch Cool™ control panel on the outside, the freezer looks cleaner and spacious as compared to a conventional freezer with a thermostat knob.
